Happy Delivery Day!

by Sean

Happy Delivery Day! Thanks Mom for your quick labor, it made my birthday easier than it could have been. As a gift, here are some pictures from my 1- and 2-week birthdays:

For my 1-week birthday (and to beat the heat), we went to the beach (not just the coast!). Gold star to those that can find me.

This weekend, we celebrated the Labor Day holiday by going to my first baseball game, in Salem (the closest pro team until next year, when the Yakima team moves to Hillsboro).

I dressed up in my finest baseball outfit, which kept me warm (with a little help from Mom):

More thanks to Mom for saving me from a foul ball. While Daddy saw the ball coming, stood up, and did nothing, you ducked and covered me like every elementary schooler is taught to do. The ball hit only 6 inches away from us, then bounced over Daddy, so that was a lot better than hitting my head, which apparently the baseball found attractive:

Miles was generously handed his own foul ball by the Dust Devils' bullpen catcher, which was hit by Andrew Cain. He also extended his lifetime home-team win-streak to 6. (If only Daddy's softball team played at home instead of a park, they wouldn't have finished 0-12 this season.) We left in the 12th inning of a 13-inning game, missing the Tri-Cities catcher moving to pitcher only to lose the game.

I like baseball! And Miles:
