* Yeah, I was rooting for the Rainiers!

But now, it's 2013, and almost the 4th of July, so you're probably wondering how we've done this year.

I'm glad you asked.

April 27, 2013: Angels @ Mariners

Grandpa took Daddy and me to the game:

We sat in seats with actual chairs that flip up and down and have cupholders (soooo much fun)!

The game started off strong, with a crazy wild pitch from some hairy guy in a red shirt (so he must have played for the Angels) over the head of my favorite Moose (sorry Bullwinkle):

It was then followed by much better pitches from Felix, who posed with me here:

Well, you can guess how this one turned out:

Miles MLB record: 7-0 (overall 11-1)

June 17, 2013: Eugene Emeralds @ Hillsboro Hops

Grandma, Mom, Sean, Daddy, and me went to the first-ever Hillsboro Hops home game ("the first-ever professional sports franchise in Washington County").

You know what that means!? We have a new background image for the blog:

The game was a sellout and was really crowded with people like this guy:

And this guy:

We had fun watching the game (and the weather) from the grass family berm:

[Ed note: See how the yellow fence-top padding hides the pitcher and 1st base? Isn't that neat!?]

But best of all was the triple-rainbow (only the single version is shown here):

As always (except last September's 13-inning walk-off win in Keizer), Daddy made us stay until the end, so I ran in circles to stay awake:

We're looking forward to many more Hops games with Daddy:

Can you guess who won:

Miles MiLB record: 5-1 (overall 12-1)
Sean MiLB record: 2-0 (overall 2-0)
Hillsboro franchise record: 1-3

June 23, 2013: A's @ Mariners

A week later, Daddy took Sean to his first Mariners' game, along with Mom, Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Tristan, and Aunt Linda!

As you might guess, I love Mariners' games for their awesome trains:

I introduced Sean to my good friend the Moose:

Daddy ran out on the field to snag a couple home runs away from the A's:

We sat in our "normal" seats this time, and Daddy got his "normal" pictures of us looking really sleepy (see links above for past pictures of me looking much sleepier during M's games):

Sean was mesmerized by the giant new video board behind us (not pictured, except in the reflection off of Sean's eyes):

And...oh yeah, guess who won:

The Mariners are the best team ever!

Miles MLB record: 8-0 (3 walk-offs) (overall: 13-1)
Sean's MLB record: 1-0 (overall: 3-0)

We are accepting season tickets to your favorite team if you've got 'em!

P.S. Daddy's team even won a game this summer (but we didn't go).  Then they won another (which we went to)!
