As Miles mentioned, we went to the Hillboro Hops game earlier tonight, and the Hops were at full strength, as big first baseman Kevin Cron got into the lineup after missing last night's game due to not having a passport! That's the kind of organizational mistake that will get a GM fired! I'm sure Cron's dad Chris (a Diamondbacks' employee himself) accidentally missed the part in the Canadian law-book that says AAA guides are NOT the official policy of Canada, but wasn't awesome enough to sweet talk his way past the border like Mom did with Miles.
I'll spare you the details of the game.

Let the experts celebrate; the Hops won Portland's first professional baseball championship since 1997! Even the Mariners have won since...oh wait...never mind!
Hopefully Vancouver will survive the inevitable riots.
While we all know Barley already got to celebrate his own Northwest League title this year, he celebrated the players' victory too:
