Houdini

"Houdini" was my nickname most of the night, as I kept escaping my restraints to attempt to extubate myself.

Finally, at the stroke of midnight, and after several hours of breathing mostly on my own, I succeeded, and with the nurse's help, I've been breathing without a ventilator for about an hour now.

I'm tired and thirsty, but I'm pretty excited about getting to watch Cars, and Cars 2, and Nemo, and Pooh, and Cars, and Cars 2, and Cars, and Nemo, and Pooh, and Pooh, and Nemo, and Cars 2, and Cars as soon as they let me at the TV with its on-demand kids movies.
